Our customer Ernie Tellez’s SpeedLab 350-Z was featured in Import Racer Magazine’s October Issue. The Nissan 350Z comes standard with 220 horsepower at the wheels and now deliver an incredible 552 horsepower 548ft lbs torque at 15.5 psi. on 19" wheels. Brody and Chops are some of the few crews in the country who have successfully modified the 350Z and getting these kinds of results while maintaining their drivability and reliability as streetcars. Each of the 350 Z feature GReddy twin turbos with intercoolers, forged internals, fully blueprinted and balanced motors. SpeedLab also ceramic coated the exhaust manifold, turbine housing, and waste gate housing. There are many more leading edge techniques, too. John Morris, the lead technician, nicknamed Chops, who performed the transformations says, “Both Zs were good and smart builds. These particular Nissans have connecting rod issues after 400 hp that destroy the engine. The forged internals we’ve added solved that. And the Zs are scary fast.” As an added note: Todd's car now puts down 615rwhp and 575ftlbs!
